DescriptionTIP: If you've also got the quest to kill the Black Ones, remember to go and kill the greater black one before talking to Hortensia, because it starts an escort out of the cavern. The escort is fairly simple, with no additional spawns except those already in the area. if you're quick enough getting through all the mobs, you will make it out with no repops. The only one I had was the three guys at the entrance of the cavern.

bgmeehanNorDaNe, I believe it's because you don't have the quest. Perhaps you're missing a pre-requiste? After I completed this quest I helped someone else and I saw her walking around without any symbols over her head.

Richard <Guest>I don't think the info on this is right. I have done this quest before killing the greater black one (actually had to go back and to kill him after since she was actually up). For this quest the pre-req is just the Mistress of Punishment (or whatever it's called. The one where the Madam sends you to get Hornesta's necklace). When you return it (and are the apropriate level) she will give you a quest to go find her. You then go talk to her (before after or in between killing black ones). Once you talk to her she'll give yo ua secondary quest that is attached to finding her to get her out.

TheUnforgiven <Guest>On a PvP server there will be a chance of PKrs just outside the temple waiting for you, as they know you will be in a hurry trying to beat the timer on the quest, that Hortensia herself is quite slow, and that you may have to face respawn on the way out. The worst part if you get PKd is having to come all the way back to restart the quest if you get PKd, as the temple is hard to get to. It is advisable to go with a group to back you up outside.
